ING FIXATIONS, a story firmly sealed
An inventor at heart, François Inglese founded I.N.G. FIXATIONS in 1985 to market the unique I.N.G. process (Installation Nouvelle de Gonds), which enabled the installation of shutter hinges using resin. With the success of this new installation method, he decided to bring the production of shutter hinges in-house, establishing I.N.G. FIXATIONS as a fully fledged manufacturer.
Driven by a strong commitment to continuous innovation, and thanks to the trust of its distributors, François Inglese and his entire team have always strived to stay attentive to the needs of craftsmen, creating ever-more efficient products for over 40 years. The launch of the FIX-RING in 1997 even earned the company several awards (Haute-Loire Innovation Trophy, Harvard Business School Technological Innovation Award, INPI Innovation Trophy, and more).
Today, I.N.G. FIXATIONS is a family-run business supported by dedicated team members who work every day to offer solutions that meet market needs with the highest possible precision.

The Creation of ING
The first external thermal insulation projects were carried out, demonstrating the company’s pioneering spirit.
A complete first catalogue was published, providing professionals with all the technical information needed to choose the right products.
To meet growing demand, the company moved into larger premises in Puy-en-Velay, which have since expanded to 7,000 m².
To promote personal and professional fulfillment, ING began collaborating with ESATs (Work Assistance Establishments and Services). This partnership started with the ESAT of Meymac and continues today, involving more than 300 employees with disabilities across a dozen centres and two ESATs integrated within each site.
1997
The invention of the FIX-RING® marked a true revolution on job sites. Simple and quick, it allows conduits and pipes to be fixed onto any material in one easy step. Widely adopted by professionals in France and abroad, it opened the door to international expansion.
2000
The French National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) awarded the company its Innovation Trophy for the FIX-RING®, recognizing its outstanding innovative capacity.
2000
A second production facility was inaugurated. The initial 3,000 m² layout has evolved into a modernized operation now covering 9,000 m².
2004
The FIX-RING® was selected for the construction of the Olympic Village hosting 16,000 athletes, an international recognition of its reliability and efficiency.
2010
An in-house marketing department was established to design all communication materials: packaging, catalogues, brochures, point-of-sale displays, and more.
2012
Arrival on Social Media
The YouTube channel was launched to showcase practical product applications and better support construction professionals. This marked the company’s first social media presence, soon followed by LinkedIn.
2019
Marielle Inglese Joins the Company
Marielle, daughter of François Inglese, joined the company with a modern vision : integrating digital innovation and CSR priorities while preserving ING’s core identity.
2012
